USAA + NFL Salute to Service: The world’s first virtual flyover

As the official military appreciation sponsor of the NFL, USAA challenged us to find a unique way to salute every current and former service member

Celebrate service members with uncompromising authenticity—from tone of voice to props and wardrobe
Solution
We translated the tradition and grandeur of an NFL stadium Flyover following the National Anthem from physical to digital in the world’s first virtual flyover—an interactive video experience using Google Street View, Google Earth, generative voice technology, and real-time CGI rendering—that generates a custom short film culminating with six F-15 jets flying directly over the home of the viewer.
